The History Of Tarot

One would have to travel back at least six-hundred years to
find the beginnings of Tarot.
The ancient Egyptians created a hieroglyphic book of seventy-eight tablets or
Chaldean 'mystery religions', which formed the basic knowledge for the Tarot.
In addition to the Egyptian history, the Knights Templar, during and after the crusades,
brought religious and philosophical beliefs back from India and China,
adding to a rich history surrounding Tarot.

Tarot was first created to encompass astrology, Kabala, numerology, alchemy, magic, mythology,

Egyptology, religion, Christian mysticism, Eastern philosophy and psychology.

The first Tarot deck appeared C15 and included

twenty-two major arcana cards and fifty-six minor arcana cards.

"People often ask me how Tarot works - this is a very difficult

question to answer as Tarot is full of mysteries.

As an Intuitive I read Tarot in a certain way - and in a different

way for each client that I see, for everyone has their own path to follow.

Sometimes a client has come to see me about, for example, their relationship,

and the Tarot answers their unspoken questions relating to money - it will always turn out that the client's most pressing worry

or thought was to do with a financial situation, for example, and that is what the Tarot has answered first.

There is nothing occult about Tarot - that is an age old myth.

In fact, the pack of playing cards that we use today, derives from the Tarot deck!

Tarot is harmless and when used properly it is an amazing and truthful tool of divination."
